From idea to approved sample: how textile sampling works
The steps from a product brief to an approved sample and production for custom and private-label kids’ textiles.

Sampling turns a brief into an agreed product. We review your brief, agree fabric and construction, make a first sample, adjust it with your feedback, and record the approved sample as the reference for production. Timing and any sampling cost are confirmed for each project.
The steps
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Brief | You share the product, references, quantities, market and timing. |
| 2. Specification | We agree fabric, measurements, construction, trims and labels. |
| 3. First sample | We make a sample to the specification. |
| 4. Feedback | You review fit, look and finish; we adjust if needed. |
| 5. Approved sample | The approved sample and its specification become the production reference. |
| 6. Production | We produce, check against the approved sample, pack and prepare shipment. |
Making sampling faster
Clear references and measurements shorten sampling. If you have an existing product you want to improve, send it.
Testing
If your market needs testing (for example toy safety), plan which sample goes to the laboratory before production starts.
